Today, the company is still an independent family owned and managed business. Joan (Jo) Hey Morphet holds a Diploma in Funeral Directing. She is part of the fourth generation of the family working in the firm and is the company secretary and director. In 1990, Robert Morphet was appointed Managing Director having worked in the funeral profession since leaving school in 1980. Robert holds a Diploma in Funeral Directing, a Diploma in Management Studies and is a member of the British Institute of Embalmers. In 1997 he was awarded a Masters Degree in Business Administration (MBA).

I cannot recommend highly enough. My husbands funeral was carried out sensitively and caring and exactly as he and we wanted it. It was a fitting tribute to him and this was thanks to the professionalism and attention to detail by Robert and the team at Heys. My family and me are forever grateful.
I could not recommend them enough. Robert especially went above and beyond. He made the impossible task of planning my dads funeral at only 29 that bit easier. I know there is so much that goes on behind the scenes however, everything was perfectly smooth. Will forever be grateful for how much care and respect they showed myself but also my dad. I cannot thank them enough.
What an absolutely great team, their care and compassion throughout this extremely difficult situation was amazing. I could not recommend them enough, amazing support.

Katie and her team (Arthur B Baxter: Bingley) were absolutely brilliant throughout the entire process, and I cannot recommend them highly enough! Katie was professional, compassionate and patient at all times – offering numerous suggestions.
D Walsh buried my father in 1968 and Mr Walsh was so helpful to my Polish mother that she never forgot him, which is why in 1994 when my mother died then I went back to her favourite funeral director. Thank you on behalf of our family for helping us out over the years.

If I could give Megan and her team more stars i really would!! They sorted everything out for our baby boys funeral with no problems at all! Very polite caring staff! Especially Megan! I would just like to say a massive Thank you to you all for looking after our boy!! It absolutely means the absolute world to us!
During an extremely difficult time, Megan and Charlotte just scooped our family up into their arms and guided in every way. Nothing is too much trouble. From the first painful phone call to collecting dad’s ashes our family will be always thankful.
A Big Thank You to Megan Armitage and her team (Hearse Driver ,pall bearers etc) for organising the funeral and a wonderful send off for my father. From our first meeting to organise the funeral with my sister , Megan was caring, polite and professional and guided us through the process of organising a funeral and the paperwork which needed to be completed
