What We Offer:

Ashtree House is a family run bed and breakfast on the outskirts of the village of Thornton, the birth place of the Brontë family. The house was built in 1863, originally as a country inn run by the Thwaites family. It remained  a hostelry until the late 1930s when it changed  use to a residential property. The  current owners Bev and Chris Hughes have lovingly updated their home to provide high quality bed and breakfast accommodation, whilst still retaining the traditional Victorian features. Ashtree House is located on the edge of the village close to the wonderful unspoilt Yorkshire countryside, and moorland made famous by the Brontë novels.

We unfortunately only had an overnight stop at this fantastic guest house, but we were really delighted with the friendliness of Chris and Bev. The house us furnished to a high standard. The garden was lovely.

What a great place to stop. Our experience was great from start to finish. Our hosts, Chris and Bev couldn’t do enough to make is feel more welcome, nothing was too much trouble. Even gave us a lift to the local pub to get an evening meal.

Chris and Bev have possibly the best B&B we have ever stayed in, they were beyond hospitable, had the most beautiful rooms, and gardens, and a wonderful manner! Thank you for. A lovely stay.

These guys are top notch for people looking to commute. I had just relocated to Yorkshire and only required the room for the weekends, they would store all my luggage for me while I was away in the week and have it ready in my clean room.

Great experience 👍: Booking was easy with agile customer service (Man like Pawel). I’m particular about where I sleep. Nice 🛌and it smells good. 5 mins to UOB, plus a clean kitchen for takeaways. Overall, brilliant 👏 and thanks for your service. Will be back 💯

This large Victorian farm house B&B accommodation is set in the green-belt with stunning views down the Aire Valley. Only a 5 minute walk to the Leeds Liverpool canal. 15 minute walk to Esholt where Emmerdale was filmed and you can have a drink in the Woolpack. We are also close to Saltaire Mill and Village, World Heritage Site. We are also very close to Baildon Moor for tranquil walks and stunning landscapes. Skipton and the the Yorkshire Dales are only a 40 minute drive away. All rooms are large, en-suite and decorated to a high standard. Every room features tea & coffee making facilities, freeview TV,  and Wireless Internet. The house features ample FREE Parking.

hands down the best b&b I’ve ever stayed in, simply superb in every way. Easy to find, and a great location with wonderful views from the room, and nice walks easily from the b&b location. Fantastic staff who even let me keep my motorcycle safe in their garage for my stay, lovely breakfast even catering perfectly for my fussy vegetarian needs!

We stayed and went to a wedding just down the road good size room and if u are a horse lover u will love it.
By far the best b&b we have stayed in. Val is a great host room large and comfort table. Breakfast was great. Peter Broughton.
