Consequently this is where the majority of non-routine surgery will take place. Our inpatient facilities are comfortable, secure and constantly monitored by vets and nursing staff to aid your pet’s recovery. Our knowledgeable staff and our facilities allow us to deal with a variety of medical conditions your pet may experience. We took our cat for her 6 months diabetic check. The vet she saw was excellent with her, she gets very scared going to the vets, she is an indoor cat. But the vet was careful and kind with her. She is going on fine, so back in 6 months.

They never explained how long the medication will take to work etc.

They are a little pushy with getting people signed up to pet club.

What We Offer:

The practice is now equipped with an extensive laboratory meaning we can run extensive investigative blood profiles including blood electrolytes, proteins, liver and kidney factors, cholesterol, glucose, and red and white blood cell analysis. We have a high powered x-ray machine enabling us to take highly diagnostic detailed x-rays of pets from tiny rabbits to Great Danes. We are able to examine samples of cells from suspicious lumps and bumps (called fine needle aspirates) with the ability to prepare, stain and examine slides in the Shipley laboratory. Our hospital area is divided into separate dog and cat rooms and kennels are set along one wall only in each room to minimise stress.

I’ve just moved my dog to this vets and I’m impressed with the service we’ve got. My dog was thoroughly checked over and the staff were prepared for our appointment. I genuinely feel my dogs health was the priority here.
Professional and caring vets and support staff. Vets explanations always clear and honest. When medication required vets always advise of the different costs and never push to more expensive options. Very reasonably priced and very helpful when it comes to submitting insurance claims. Highly recommend this practice.
